external hard drive not read on mac

external hard not read on my mac , it read only on disk utlity in this mac machine , i tried to open it in another mac , it can read and write good , i can`t under stand this problem ,can i make it read agin in my mac whit out format it !! , the ex hard have important material , capture more than 100 hour , thx alot

copy it to a different drive on the other mac. once you have that done, reformat the messed up one and move the data back again.

Sounds like a good investment to make. Understand, you have a time bomb with that existing one.

i`ll try to copy my material to another hard , no way to open this hard agin on this mac !!
