MB Pro 17", MB Air 13" 1.7Ghz Core i7, iMac 27" 3.1Ghz, iPhone 5, couple iPad 2s and a 3 + 20 more
Here's my scenario:

On my AIR, I have to go into System Preferences >> Sound >> Select my 2nd Audio Source (Bluetooth Adapter) every time I want to "connect" to my stereo system.

However, if my iPhone connects to the same system, the AIR disconnects and I have to go in and re-connect via the above steps, manually.

My question is: How do I create an icon on the desktop that would execute the above steps in System Preferences with one click? Automator? Apple Script?

Thanks in advance

You can hold down option and click the Volume symbol on the menu bar to select the audio output device

(at least I think that's it - all from memory, not in front of my Mac)
