Do you have an antivirus??

Hi!!

I work in a office where I share files and stuff with people that use windows (PCs)
I have a mac book pro there,

sometimes they told me that they have viruses, but seem that
my mac is not getting them, fortunately
So do you recommend me to buy an antivirus for my mac???

am I secure??? for just having a mac??

Quick and easy answer is NO !!!!
There is not a single virus in the wild that will affect a Mac. Malware yes but unless you regular the norty sites your safe.

And never ever put your Admin Password in when asked if you dont know why it asked.

I have an Antivirus on all my Windows machines (MSE). If I got a windows virus on the Mac and copied it over to the Windows machine, MSE would catch it.


On OSX itself I really do not use an AntiVirus at this point in time. I do have ClamX AV installed if I ever did need it but never fire it up.
