Hi I have Lion installed

I want to delete an app, I used AppZapper to erase it,
The deleted app is sent to the trash, but I can remove it from the trash.

When I want to empty the trash it says something like this: not possible to empty the trash, the app X is still in use

But I don't have it open, how can I delete that file???

thanks!!!

Open Finder, and make sure the .dmg isn't mounted still.

Check to make sure that the app isn't still running. It's very possible that, despite moving it to the Trash, it's still running. Make sure to exit out of any open instances of the application and any associated applications (such as a menu bar application).

..and if either those two previous suggestions don't do it, a quick reboot should allow you to empty the trash..

Clicking the Red button doesn't quit the app, just closes the window. It could still be running.
