I made my HD Finder window a certain size and I don't feel like opening everything and making it match. Is there a way to make all my finder windows "synch" to be the same size?

It does stay but its only for the one window not the other ones. IE my external HD, and when you download anything and open it the window size is the default one.

Try opening a regular finder window, then hit apple + J to bring up the view options dialogue and make sure the 'all windows' option is toggled.

The change something and close the view options window...
All other windows should look and behave the same as this one now...
