Hi
I am currently editing my cousins wedding video at the moment, but the camcorder which is a canon legria fs306 saved everything in MOD format, i put the SD card into the macbook, and converted a lot of stuff with programs off the internet, this took ages and takes quite a lot of memory.
But i discovered just plugging the camcorder in via the USB with the card in triggers iMovie to download all the videos. Why can't iMovie do this with the SD card on its own.
Also whats the best way of fully removing the various video converters i tried out.
