You can get rid of the icon by dragging it off the Dock to the desktop. It should go "poof" and disappear. However, the configuration program may still be installed if it has not been properly removed.

Try holding down the command button and dragging it off the menu bar. If that doesn't work, open system preferences, go to users & groups and select login items for the account you are logged in with. Here you will see a list of programs that automatically start when you log in to your mac - can you see it there? If so, remove it from this list.

Was it there? Did you do this?

You'd need to restart afterwards too.

Incidentally, when you say you thought you deleted the drivers..... how did you do that?

Open System Preferences, click on Users & Groups. Click on the Login tab on the upper right side. What's showing up there? If you see the driver configuration program, highlight it and click on the small minus sign at the bottom of the box.

Also, have you tried clicking on the icon in your menu bar to see if there is a remove option?

You can also try out uninstall software like CleanApp/ or AppZapper. An alternative to this that I have never used myself would be Ccleaner but I have never tried this one myself.

The only way you'll get a third party app on the bar is in the login items.... any chance of a screen shot of them?

Open up Activity Monitor (/Applications/Utilities) and look for any processes that might be associated with the mouse software. If you find it, stop it.

If you have no idea what you're looking for, post the list here and we'll see what we can do. You can save the list of processes and paste it here.

Stop the "RzDeviceEngine" and "RzUpdater" processes.

it won't delete or stop. I'm a bit confused as to why i hit them both i seen icon flash and as soon as i hit stop on the engine a big bold lime green saying profile flashed on my screen. could there be something not allowing this to stop running?

What "profile" blinks? Are you referring to the menu bar app?

Did the app come with an uninstaller? I'm going to assume that it might have since it appears to have copied files all across the filesystem. Reinstall it and use the included uninstaller (assuming of course there is one).
