MacBook Pro 17" for Digital Media/Adobe Master Student

i been wanting to go to college to get a degree in Digital Media with Adobe Master Option. im trying to figure out if a macbook pro would be good for that, not only apple item i have is a 2gb ipod nano currently. ty in advance for reading my question and look forward to some advice.

It probably would be, however, it's always a good idea to contact the school you intend to go to and find out their requirements first. You don't want to spend over $2000 on a 17" MBP only to learn the school requires you to have a PC instead. Most colleges don't specify and usually a Mac or PC will be OK, but you never know.....

well part of the corse is 3 credit hours learning mac os, so that makes me think maby the work on macs. my other pc im considering is a hp envy 17 3d

No serious student of digital media would be using a Windows machine, so I'm not surprised that the college is incorporating Mac OS into the learning.

If you need portability, then a 15" or 17" MacBook Pro is your primary option.
