What does this Console message mean?

I've noticed this repeating message in the Console. Any ideas what it means and if it's a problem? I dont even know how to begin answering this question.


2/20/12 4:04:00 PM com.apple.launchd[1] (com.apple.lockd[9802]) Exited with exit code: 1

Usually a code 1 means failure to complete - you have to read the source code or documentation to find the "exact" meaning. launchd is a background service scheduler - like starting up network after the computer hardware has its drivers loaded, etc.
How often does this occur, and what are the two or three messages just before this one - and are they the same each time?

thanks for getting back to me. im reasonably good with computers but this just goes beyond what i can do.

this is happening about every 3 minutes.

the message before, which also seems to be repeating is about Google notifier. I actually uninstalled and reinstalled it last week because of this.

So, does this happen because you are using Chrome and have a gmail notifier plugin?

I guess. I turned Google Notifier off and im still getting the message. I'm not sure

1 - what i should do?
2 - if this is a problem i need to solve? i have no sense if this is bad for my machine.
