Hi all,I am after some advice as I am new to iMac and OS, over the last week i have had some panic reports coming up, after i have tried to wake the iMac from sleep. I have had to restart it every time by holding the power button as it won't wake.

Then once its restarted i have had the error report up. I did try one so called fix that was to start in safe mode, then restart, that seemed to work for two days then today i am back with another report.

Any advice would be most welcomed. :)

Here is the report

Are you up to date with OS X Lion? Nothing in the panic log immediately jumps out at me as a problem, the current task is the "kernel_thread" which makes sense and the panic itself is a page fault which also makes sense, but something in servicing that page fault caused a kernel trap and there's nothing in the log saying what that might be.

Did this problem start after installing/modifying something? You have AppleCare for a while now, so you should definitely call Apple for a start, and next take it to the Apple store to have them check it out for you..

You get 1 year of AppleCare (the warranty) with your purchase, and can extend that to 2 more years before your first year runs out..

There are lot of people complaining about the WiFi connection dropping out when waking up the iMac, I believe there is an option in the network settings to have it automatically reconnect? I use the Airport connection on my iMac as well and I just do the sleep/wake thing and it reconnects every single time without any problems..
