iMessenger - cannot see emailaddresses in iPhone's contacts

I have an iPhone and when I use iMessenger, and I like to send a message to an iPad, I can get my Contacts (yahoo contacts list) but I only see the Phone numbers, I cannot see the emailaddresses which are also in that Contacts list.

My friends who own iPhones can see emailaddresses and are using gmail and yahoo contacts list.

Please help me....

I have found the answer, after finding a "hint" on the apple forum website ;-)

It said, that MMS had to be turned ON.

In Options of iMessenger, it was turned ON.

Then I went to:

General > Network > Cellular Data Network
and the MMS was all empty.
So I checked the info of my mobile provider about MMS, and put the info inthere.
Oh yesssss, after that I was able to get the emailaddresses in iMessenger, and the keyboard now had a @ and a dod .
