I tried posting this question earlier today. It looked like it
worked but never appeared in the forum.

I get this error message when I try to empty the trash bin:
"The operation can’t be completed because you don’t have
permission to access some of the items."

I tried the sudo command found in a similar post, no go.
Is Trash It legitimate? It's hard to know what to trust. I
also tried holding down the control key, that didn't work.

Thanks in advance.

The files in the trash .... where did they come from ?
If they came from an external device, then you need to connect that external device before emptying the trash.

McBie-

Thanks for the reply. It's a folder, came from my desktop.
No files show up when I open the folder.
Any knowledge of Trash It software? It's on the Mac Update
site and cnet as well.
