My ~/Library/Preferences folder has multiple com.apple.finder.plist files.
They appear to be aliases. But they only show up when I search for the string 'finder' in the Finder search window… so suspect SpotLight.
They won't delete any way; they don't show up in the Terminal!
Different dates. Different lengths. All named identically!
(Disk Warrior, permissions repaired and Repaired Volume regularly etc. All to no avail.)
Anyone any idea why and how they're being created and how to get rid of them, please?
Thanks
