Hello!

I'm calibrating my Macbook Air 11" for the first time. I'm at the stage where you charge it from empty to full. The laptop is off, but I read that it can take up to five hours to fully charge.

Would it still calibrate if I take out the adapter and charge the Macbook later providing I don't turn it on?

(And when it's charging again, can you turn it on?) The apple website doesn't say ( Apple Portables: Calibrating your computer's battery for best performance )

Yes you can turn the machine on when it is charging. I don't think that you can continue the process once the power is disconnected from the machine so you would have to leave it plugged in.

The latest models don't need calibration anyway, forget about it.
