I didn't want to hijack that other recent thread about a similar issue..

I'm somewhat unclear about (possible adverse?) effects of adding RAM to the current 12" PB models.
does maxing out the RAM w/ 1.25 GB actually increase or decrease battery life (and also fan activity)?

thanks in advance for any input!

No, and change will be minimal in the extreme; RAM is no where near as power hungry as the LCD Screen, Graphics Chip, Hard Disk, Optical Drive or Processor.

So get that extra RAM :flower:

hey! :headphone

what are your RAM specs? ...and what about heat issues? I've read that the PB gets hotter w/ additional/maxed out RAM, and thus fan activity increases as well.
