I've been having troubles restarting my Mac Pro for quite some time now (I believe since I had a new HD installed, which I use for TimeMachine backups only).
Everything on the computer works fine except for when I attempt to Restart the computer - it gets sent to this sleep state or a lull where everything seems to shut down except the tower stays in what appears to be a sleep state that cannot be woken.
So I hold down the power button to power it down and then boot it up again.
Curious to see what I could do to remedy this situation as I don't want to always have to shut down then boot up again as opposed to simply restarting.
Thanks so much,
- K
