Hi.

I just replaced my HDD with another. I saw that Apple uses the internal sensor instead of external one, so i bought the Seagate Barracuda Green 2TB with the right connection.

The thing is that i can't see the OS reading this temperature now. Is there any way to configure it or setup anything to make it work?

Thank you.

Tell us the year and model of your iMac. The newer iMacs use a proprietary drive and cable to provide temperature sensing that in turn controls the hard drive cooling fan.
