So I've been looking for a solution and can;t find one, here's my problem.
I have bowtie (an app for displaying the current itunes song and artwork) in the bottom right corner of my screen. I used to be able to set it as "desktop-level" (a setting within the app) so files on my desktop show up on top of the album artwork, but since a recent update, files frequently get stuck behind the album artwork and the only way to retrieve them is to use a hot corner to view the desktop.
Is there any way I can set a certain area of the desktop as "off-limits" so files don't go to that specific area?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks
