I installed LaunchBar a few weeks back and then uninstalled it after deciding it's not for me.I set my keyboard shortcuts back to default, but strangely, shft+space no longer calls up spotlight. I looked for lingering caches and preferences of the program (as suggested on LaunchBar's faq), but none turned up.

Any ideas? I use spotlight quite extensively.

Spotlight's default key combination is Command-Space. Give that a try.

Sorry, I got cmd and shft screwed up in my head. I meant cmd+space, and yes, that's what I was trying. Ok, despite having made myself look stupid, does anyone know how I can deal with this problem?

What does it say in System Preferences > Keyboard > Keyboard Shortcuts > Spotlight?
