Okay, so my friend has an AVI file, and he would like to create a DVD movie disc (that you can pop into a standard DVD player) using the file as the actual movie. How would one go about doing this? Any help with making the DVD menu would be appreciated too. :dummy:

How do you use toast to convert to DVD from AVI? What version of Toast can you use as well?
Thanks.

I use Toast 7 - basically just drop the files into the 'Movie' pane and it'll recode the files and burn the DVD. Takes ages but it's easy.

Yeah - toast 7 isn't a huuuge leap from version 6 - but hte minor improvements are really useful.
