Hello all,
So today I installed Final Cut Studio 2, the whole suite, onto my company's Power Mac. The whole installation went smooth and all the components including the additional content dvd's all installed without any problems. The issue is that, several of the programs after start-up don't display the Menu Bar at the top of the screen. Picture attached.
Also, the splash screen on start up is also blank, except the name of the program.
The programs affected here are: DVD Studio Pro, Compressor, Motion, Live Type and Soundtrack. (I know...pretty much all of them)
Final Cut Pro 6.0.6 is working just fine, and displays all of the menu items (i.e. File, edit, view etc.)
I updated all the software after installation, and even uninstalled/reinstalled twice. I deleted preference files, and ran disk utility to no avail.
Does anybody know why this is happening? I cant use DVDSP or Compressor at all while its in this state.
System Specs: Dual 2.0GHz PowerPC G5 with 4Gb Memory and OSX 10.5.8
