Hi All,

Yesterday, my 2011 Macbook Air 11" fell off the couch and onto a glass of water that was sitting on the floor. The very sturdy glass broke into pieces when my Air hit it with the thin aluminum keyboard edge. No water damage (thank goodness!), but there are now two dents/gouges on the edge of the keyboard and also two or three other dings/scratches on the underside.

Ugh...I only got this thing like two weeks ago from Apple (refurbed). I absolutely love it. Now I am wondering how much this is going to cost me if I decide to get Apple to replace the unibody. If anyone could give me some insight I would really appreciate it!

Thanks
Steve

Since you just purchased it two weeks ago, you're still covered by the 90 days free telephone support. Give Apple support a call and ask them. Otherwise, take it on in to your local Apple store and have them give you an estimate of repairs. However, from the reports of others who also inquired about getting a unibody replaced, it can be quite expensive.
