Hi,

I have just converted to mac, I have an issue with opening files to be sent as attachments in outlook. If I right click and select "New Email With Attachment" it just opens in the default mail app. I have set outlook as my default mail client and cant understand why it wont open my files to be sent in outlook.

Could someone please help with this.

Thanks

This is a common problem.

For some reason, on Mac OSX you need to set the default mail client in Apple Mail's own prefernces, so that's where you need to set Outlook as the default - by opening Mail > Preferences > General prefs tab

(for the default browser - you would set the safari preferences)

Done that and it still doesnt work. Outlook is also automatically just downloading old mails from the server all the time, and there are two mail accounts set up so it downloads about 300-400 mails..
