Canon Pixma ip2702
Mac OS X 10.4.11

I have a printer that CAN but won't print any jobs. I get this message:
Printing of jobs for this printer stopped. Do you want to continue and
restart the printing of jobs?

Continue what? I have no jobs waiting to be printed. I deleted them all.

Whenever I try to print something I get: Printing ... then ... Jobs Stopped.
What's going on? There's an exclamation symbol everywhere.

The printer is directly attached via USB
Print head cleaning OK
Print head alignment OK
USB cable OK
Reinstalled driver
Turned printer on/off
Restarted
Repaired Permissions
There are no other devices attatched only USB mouse and keyboard

Do I have to reinstall Mac OS?
There's definitely something in the operating system conflicting with the printer.

First.. please do not double post. I removed your other post.

Have you opened the print queue when that message appears to see if there are any print jobs shown there? If print jobs are not cleared from the queue that message will nag you every time you turn the printer on.

Print jobs are cleared but apparently the printer or Mac OS still thinks there are some jobs to be printed.
This is why I reinstalled the driver but still same problem.

I couldn't delete the other post, sir.
No delele button.

Not sure it'll help, but, go to Print & Fax, highlight and delete the printer from the Printer list (this is the list of setup printer queues). Now Add it back again.

(reinstalling the driver is a Windows method....)
