Hi all,
I had to replace my hd in my iMac and have never done this before.
What format do I use as it showing me several ones?
I know it's not Dos.
Thanks

If your Drive will only be used with a Mac choose HFS+ . Personally I choose journaled and not case sensitive. For Intel Macs choose the GUID partition type.

Mac OS Extended (Journalled) and as Sly said if it is an Intel iMac, under Partition > Options select GUID, and Apple Partition Map if it is a Power PC model.
