I just recently purchased an iPad 2 on January 7th and I have already cracked the screen, I would say pretty severely. Is there a place where I can get this matter fixed?

There are companies offering the service, yes. Google is your best bet really, then you can find one local to you.

Mine cracked from and I told apple exactly what happened and they did a one time thing where they replaced it for free. You might want to try that if not you can do it you self for around 90 or you can send it in for 150-200.
