Disable image preview in list view?

Okay, so i have a directory with photos in it, and i don't want them to show the little icon of the preview in list view, or in any view for that matter. I know how to enable and disable it in the view options, but that doesn't shut off the preview, it's always there. The only way i know to get rid of it is to view the info for every file, and change the icon one by one. I don't really feel like doing that for thousands of photos. Is there any way to truly disable it? (You can't select all of the photos>get info>change icon. You'd have to do it one by one)
