i have read a few web pages that discuss the ripping issue and have clipped
two below for public review as an example:
Jailbreaking and ripping DVDs now legal in the US | iT.Grunts
Jailbreaking your iPhone and ripping DVDs: Both now perfectly legal | TV | Newswire | The A.V. Club
This is not new as you can see from the date - July 2010, however in light of the content that permits ripping DVDs that you own (for small clip content),
is it not about time the forum allowed discussion and advise on this very topic instead of shunning members in toto Unless there are new rules from 2010 onwards that prohibit DVD ripping entirely again...
just a thought and i would be interested to read other points of view
