According to a study published on Thursday, Apple's phone-based tech support remains the best in the industry, but complaints regarding wait times and call automation have led to a decline in customer satisfaction.
That's what happens when you have more people buying your stuff(not just mac, which have been only steadily growing), forcing rush times on the reps call time.
In the end, you still have something that the others don't: The Genius Bar. That's more helpful than any call in my opinion, unless it's a small technical problem.
this is a joke..not meant for personal lambasting...I jsut saw the re-run last night and the word genius bar reminded me:

When you are selling more systems then anyone else, there will be a lot of people needing help. So it just stand to reason people will have to wait many times to get help.
