Can I make my iBook G3 see a network without an SSID?

well my school thought it would be cool to take off the SSID, and I no longer can see the network. is there any way I can make it see the network again?


OSX 10.4.3 Airport card, lemme go get the model number

Yeah, if you already know the SSID of the network, just enter it under the 'other' tab with a password and you'll connect.

If you don't know the SSID, download macstumbler to help you find hidden networks and then try connecting

if this works, I am going to hug you so hard man. you have no idea how much this helps having internet on my laptop at school. (although I must admit, it does save a substantial amount of battery with the Airport disabled)

ok, that didn't work. I don't know whats up though. if you have any other ideas, I'd love to hear them!
