Sorry for another post on .mts, but I read the sticky post and it didn't help.
I'm having all kinds of problems using .mts files from my Canon Vixia HFR20. I've tried just copying the .mts files to my drive and converting them using assorted converters, but I've found nothing that does it very well and it leaves the .mts files separated. (I guess there's a file size limit or something because my videos invariably get split up into several 2.05 GB files).
From what I have been able to find, it sounds like using the "Import from camera" option in iMovie is the best bet, but iMovie won't recognize my camera when I plug it in. I also tried copying the whole memory card folder structure to hdd and using "import-Camera archive" but it just kept saying this is not a camera archive folder.
Note that I'm running iMovie '11. Thanks in advance for any help.
