Each time I open iTunes, it asks me to enter my Apple ID password. iTunes 10.5.3. Why doesn't it remember the password anymore? It never did this before.

My parents are getting this as well. I have yet to find where in the settings to get this straightened out. They have the latest version of iTunes on Windows 7 Ultimate, 64-bit.

Yep. I did a search in the account settings for the iTunes Store as well as the preferences for iTunes itself. I can find nothing either. VERY ANNOYING.

Make sure everything associated with your account is right. In iTunes, go to >Store > View my account

I have done that with their account already. Still, every time they start iTunes, it asks for their password.

I did. Apple ID is correct, password is correct. All other info, including credit card and address is correct.

Nobody else suffers from this minor, yet highly annoying issue?

Yep.
Becomes annoying. It also sometimes refuses to accept the password, and I have to enter it again to get it to work. Yes, I do enter it correctly.

I get it also from iTunes. Glad to see it wasn't just a problem with my mbp.

Seems to be widespread with absolutely no news on a fix from Apple. Hopefully the old saying hold true..."No news is good news."

But this is SERIOUSLY ANNOYING!

None of that seems to have anything to do with password saving/recognition. Appreciate the response nonetheless.
