networking with pc problem

hi.

i'm having a problem for some time now, pc was originally but now not visible in finder automatically, i can connect using smb/ip etc but i have dhcp and ip changes sometimes. the biggest problem is using a shared printer. is there a way to get mac to see pc always when i turn on. i have no problems seeing mac from pc which is windows 7 ultimate 64 bit.

What about setting up a DHCP reservation for the Windows PC so that it always keeps the same IP address. What is the firewall like on that PC?
