portable gps not being recognised

hi
i have a go cruise gps that isn't being recognized by the mac. from what ive seen on the net there is no solution. any ideas? its a go cruise gps-3503 and im using osx on desktop connecting via usb. no recognition at all. im sure someone out there has a solution. (the go cruise is a fantastic unit, fast and simple.)

2017 27" iMac, 10.5" iPad Pro, iPhone 8, iPhone 11, iPhone 12 Mini, Numerous iPods, Monterey
Have you checked their web site to see if there are drivers for OS X? Without drivers it's likely not going to be recognized. Do you need to connect it to your Mac in order to download updates and additional maps?

hi
yes have even phoned them. they told me to watch naviextra.com for updates but said macs dont support the system so was just seeing if anyone out there had a solution. the maps are still good but an update wouldnt hurt.
