Lost iphone4s - how to recover photos using icloud?

my iphone was stolen. I would really like to recover the photos!

I have a macbook pro running snow leopard, i had photostream turned on (but the phone is obviously not currently connected to the network). Is it possible to get the photos back?
What software do I need? or should I go to the apple store and see if they can do it??

iPhoto will do it and comes with the PC. There is plenty of support for it.

However, it will only get the photos that were already in the stream, if any were added before you hit a wifi network, they wont be there until you do.

Deckyon means your computer..not a PC running Windows..so pop open iPhoto and see what you can pull from there..

PC is a Personal Computer, it has nothing to do with what OS is on it.

iphoto does not work. with snow leopard, i have iphoto 8.1.2. This will not access photostream. As I understand it, to access photostream on my mac i would need Lion and the iphoto application from iLife 11.
Is there another way?

Deckyon: yeah, you should probably avoid using the term PC when you mean Mac. I know you're technically correct, but it just causes confusion.

Jeffrey: I'm very sorry to hear that your iPhone got stolen. Most of your photos should already be on your Mac, since you would have been syncing your iPhone with your Mac. So the only photos that SHOULD be at risk are those you've taken with the iPhone since the last sync.

As Deckyon said, you must be running Lion to use iCloud's Photostream on your Mac. If you have another iOS 5 device (or plan to get one soon) of course the photos will come back since that device will have access to PhotoStream. You can then just transfer the pictures from Photostream to the regular camera roll and sync with your existing Mac.

Be aware that PhotoStream only "keeps" the pictures for 30 days, so either upgrade your Mac to Lion or get (or at least borrow) an iOS 5 device to replace the iPhone so you can save the pictures.
