I'm currently in an hotell-room in Brazil, the place got a free wifi, wich works perfect on my girlfriends macbook pro. However, on mine, it just acts strange.. I've been trying to figure out what the problem is for several days now and I just have to ask about this..
Here are the details:
it connects fine to the network. Stuff like msn messenger, dropbox, skype etc works flawless but both firefox and safari just won't connect to most websites.. Some websites starts to work for some reason and then I can only access one or two specific sites at a time. For instance, if I get into facebook.com, everything on facebook works, while I can't access any other sites.
Ive tried most of the obvious stuff.. Renewed the DHCP.. tried a manual IP.. Rebooting.. What's the problem here? What should I do?
