Weird iPad problem

This problem is unique to me. I cannot tell how much power I have remaining on my iPad. In the top right corner it displays 47% and indicates that I am currently charging, which I am not. I have used my iPad all day but have no idea how much power remains. I have turned the BATTERY PERCENTAGE switch on and off a couple of times to no avail.

Anyone have any suggestions?

I did a soft reset and the problem is solved. Thanks!
