Hey guys!

I ve got this Macbook White 2.4 of September 2008. I want to upgrade the RAM. Now it has 2GB and I want to make it 4GB.

I found this one in a local site:

KINGSTON VALUERAM 2 X 2 GΒ DDR2-667 PC2-5300 CL5

I think it's the right one, but I m not sure.

Can anybody help me?

PS: I cannot put DDR3, right?

Best bets for memory are Crucial.com and Otherworldcomputing.com - both have memory finders which will help point you at exactly the right modules. There's nothing wrong with Kingston RAM, assuming you can find the right modules - and if that's really what you want to go with, then use one of these two sites to help you spec out the memory.

You can actually install 6GB of ram into your Macbook instead of Apple's recommended 4GB if you want.

Also, DDR3 ram will not work.
