While programming and looking at sample code, I run across lots of interesting code snippets I'd like to look at later. I'd like to just quickly copy.paste somewhere. Would be nice to just stick them somewhere in a widget in dashboard. Later I go through them and move what a want to keep (currently using jreepad for that part).
I thought I'd found it, when I saw Stickies+ but the snips are usually too long to fit in a sticky note, so it just won't paste them of course.
Needs to be real easy and quick, sort of along the lines of sticky notes, but even a single spot would be ok too, like just a small editor that's always open as a widget - something along those lines. Having it in Dashboard, out of the way, is a big plus.
Suggestions ?
