Hey guys,

I am planning on buying an Apple Thunderbolt display, but I was wondering, if I connect my MacBook Air on it, can I keep the screen closed and only work on the display itself? Also, if connect an external hard drive on the monitor itself, does it connect directly to MacBook air? and when I remove the MacBook Air from the display, will I have to disconnect the drive from the Air, or is that not necessary?

-Thank you

Way... way too many specs to list.
does your Macbook Air have a Thunderbolt port? If yes, then the above should all be yes.. and you will have to unmount the drive (eject), no matter how it's connected.

If no, I don't believe the display will work, at all.
