This is mind boggling that it's actually equal since only Apple creates iOS devices and LOTS of manufacturers create Android based devices..

Well, equal in the sense of products I guess, but unequal in favour of Apple if you compare manufacturers..
Either way I thought it was an interesting read, given recent threads regarding which is the best interface / device etc..

Yeah that's about all you can compare anyway, number of products that are based on either Android or iOS. Being open source means that there SHOULD be more devices based on Android than iOS by a large margin..

I have thought about android, but I love iOS I have all of them.
