I think I screwed up my OS when I tried to change my username. It seems after that, I had issues which I've been fixing.
My terminal window would shown my computer as unknown, until I changed it with hostname and also edited a OS config file via google suggestion.
Anyway, I thought I had it all fixed. I am enabling apache web server on my mac, and did that through enabling web sharing.
But, on the web sharing page it shows the URLs like this
http://unknownd830625a6d26/~mrbaddie/
It isn't causing a problem, but it is just a curiosity and wanting to fix it.
Anyone have any ideas on what to check? I already tried to rename the computer again, but it doesn't seem to stick.
At one point it actually showed the correct url, I had fixed it, but I don't know what I did to make it go back to "unknown"
