More Ram, to be or not to be

Currently using a mid 2011 27-inch 2.7ghz i5

4GB of ram.

I'm noticing a slow down when i run a bunch of things, and a LONG load time for things like dreamweaver, wondering if a ram upgrade would be worth my time.

I can get 16GB of ram from crucial for like 90 bucks.

Just wondering how much of a difference it would make.

Rather than going into a long explanation of how more ram may or may not improve things...if $90 bucks is no big deal...then just get the ram. It's a pretty good price for 16gig.
