Can not open some DVDs

Hi, I don't know why my Macbook Pro can not open some DVDs until I open them in my another Macbook.Have you any ideas?

G'day and welcome to the forums.

Crook optical drive. Slot loaders in MB, Minis and iMacs seem to have a pretty high failure rate.

Thanks Harry,
But as i mentioned after I open the DVDs in my old Macbook then I can run those DVDs in my current Macbook Pro.
Seems my old Mac unlock something in the DVDs.

Seems weird...DVDs obviously are read-only...only thing I can think of is that something in your old MacBook might be looking for some kind of DRM key online that your MacBook Pro isn't looking for or something...
