Many thanks to the person suggesting the alternate flash players for legacy developers or something like that. I am no longer getting up grade notices if I click on a news video link. But mac mail is wonky now after the install, if I open a response with command R I get a msg. window with no send button and no attachment icon. I can get around this with key commands but would rather fix this if possible. I used to have the combinations for pram reset, and rebuild desktop but they wore off the paper taped to my keyboard table. Would this be a permissions thing? I will try when I finish this.
I tried searching for my user name to thank the guy in the correct thread but the search engine never heard of my user name even tho I signed with it.
