Hi, I'm about to purchase my 1st HD camcorder (Panasonic SD90), but I'm a little unsure if iMovie will be able to import/edit/play back the video files from the camcorder.
I've read that the 1080p 50p AVCHD flavour wont be able to be edited/played in iMovie, but I'm a little unsure if any of the other 1080 AVCHD formats will be able to be edited/played back.
I read that iFrame can be imported/edited/played, but that is recorded in the low resolution of 960 x 480 which kind of defeats the point of me buying a HD camcorder.
This is the camcorder im after:
Camcorders - 1MOS HD Camcorders - HDC-SD90 - Overview - Panasonic UK & Ireland
Are any of the other formats (except iFrame) recognised by iMovie?
