Mail says incoming messages, but nothing is recieved?

Hi There,

I have 2 mailboxes in my account, one my own domain, and one a gmail server.

For some reason, it keeps on saying "incoming messages" but nothing is received?

Is there a reason for this? I hope I am not missing mail?
