Hi, all, I've heard varying reports about Macs gaming capabilities. I've just switched to a 13" MacBook pro late 2011 model for university (formally a PC user) and so far I prefer it. I normally used the System Requirements Lab website to test if I could run games, but that does't seem to be working on Mac. Is there a website that can tell me if my Mac can run specific games? If not, could you help me? I want to play Two Worlds 2 and I'm not good at analysing hardware. The games Mac requirements are:

Minimum:

OS: MACOSX 10.6,
CPU: Intel Core2Duo CPU,
RAM: 2 GB RAM,
Graphics: NVIDIA GF 8800 or AMD RADEON HD

Recommended:
OS: MACOSX 10.6 or higher,
CPU: Intel Core i5 CPU,
RAM: 4 GB RAM,
Graphics: AMD Radeon HD 5750 1GB

The specs of my Macbook are:

Processor 2.4 GHz Intel Core i5
Memory 4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
Graphics Intel HD Graphics 3000 384 MB
Software Mac OS X Lion 10.7.2 (11C74)

Thanks in advance!

Your video card will be keeping you from playing most games outside the simple flash-based or web-based games. There will be some exceptions, tho. The Intel card in everything below the high end 15" is not meant for heavy lifting. If it will play games, it will be at the minimal settings to achieve a playable frame rate.

You have a good pc, just not a gaming pc.
