Suddenly my pics that I move onto the desktop won't upload to my various forums ?
Worked for years, what have I changed by mistake?
Could of started when my laptop switched off when the battery died Friday.
I do fiddle too much !
Thanks,
Duncan:Confused:
On the forums I go to 'manage attachments', choose file, upload. The wireless light on my router blinks as per normal when uploading pics but now nothing happens. It blinks for double the normal time for the size of pic then just stops.
Someone told me to untick 'block pop ups' which I did and clear cache which I did but no luck.

Waiting for a mate . . .
Your Mac's Specs
21" iMac 2.9Ghz 16GB RAM - 10.11.3, iPhone6s & iPad Air 2 - iOS 9.2.1, ATV 4Th Gen tvOS, ATV3
Welcome.

All i could suggest at TPIT is to Repair Permissions via Disk Utility.
Once open click on your HD in left Column, then the First Aid Tab and finally the RepairPermissions tab down the bottom.
Let it do its thing then when its done log out then back in. Don't fret about all the error's that showed u in the log window, that should happen and mean nothing to you.
Report back if you still have problems and we will take it from there.

And while your at it, please post your Machine Specs, what Mac you have and what OS you are running.

HTH

Cheers

Hi, I'm trying as we speak. Just managed to upload a pic from iPhoto to a forum but the same pic won't load after I put it on my desktop to make it easier to find. I havw a 2008 Macbook 10.6.8.
I shall see if I can repair it.
Thanks

Repaired permissions, restarted the laptop. No change sadly. Must be a setting that changed after an upgrade as I have never changed anything myself?
