onyx - a good thing to use?

Hi,
Is the onyx programme a useful app to download? I've heard it helps to keep things tidy?
any advice greatly received. ta

Highly recommended

Excellent Maintenance utility.

I don't think anyone around here will discourage you from using it. You don't need to run it weekly or anything but it's a good tool to run once in a while.

Maintenance and tweaks to OSX as well.

When stuff goes wrong one of the first things recommended is to use Onyx to see if anything is broken.

When you see use a terminal command to tweak something in OSX - many of them are in Onyx so you don't have to mess with command line.

In short - the bees knees!

I would definitely recommend it. It certainly does the job it was designed for.

I use it on all of my macs running OS X. Works great. In the app store if you have it try free memory and iboost up.
